It's not often it snows in Auckland, but last week the children at Little Wonders Glendowie were in for treat.
The centre's much-anticipated Snow Day saw tamariki don puffer jackets and gumboots for a day of snow-filled fun and adventure.
As well as providing unique opportunities for free play, Snow Day was an interactive way to expand children's interest in all things weather-related and boost their vocabulary.
